Photography has always been a part of my life in one way or another.  I have my mother and father to thank for that.  They were the first to give me a camera.  In fact it is the first Christmas gift I can ever remember getting.  Once I took my first photo and saw what the world looked like though the lens of my camera, I did not want to ever stop looking.  That was when I knew that photography was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.  I craved to learn more, so I went to college for photography.  After I learned all a class room could teach me, I started working with four different photographers in the Eastern Virginia area.  I can not thank each of them enough for showing me what a class room could not.  I have now been doing what I love for over 12 years.  I look at each new day as a learning experience, and another opportunity to capture something beautiful with my camera.
